Stay Formats

Creative Stays

Creative stays listed in this section will be instantly bookable (with a 24 hour accept or decline window). Usually consist of micro-residencies, private homes and retreats.

Under this section your residency or stay will be by application, where you as the host will be able to accept applications via your dashboard for a specific time frame. Usually consists of larger residencies or institutions.

Curated Programmes

Commission & Transparency

Artelio operates on a commission model. There is no cost to list your space — we take a percentage only when a booking is confirmed.

Artelio Rewards Longer Creative Stays

Our host commission decreases the longer artists stay, encouraging deeper creative immersion and meaningful time to create.

Stay Length — Host Commission

For the following timeframes, Artelio takes;

1–2 weeks — 6%*
3–4 weeks — 5%*
1–2 months — 4%*
2+ months — 3%*

* This commission rate only applies for hosts who sign up to our waitlist before our full launch in May .

Your Host Questions, Answered

  • No. While we work with existing residency programmes, many Artelio hosts are creative homes or properties with dedicated studio/work space. What matters most is that your space can genuinely support focused creative work and you are happy for them to be creative there.

  • Yes. You control when your space is available and which hosting format suits you. Artelio works around your schedule.

  • Yes. Artelio does not require exclusivity. Many hosts may continue listing elsewhere. Our focus is on positioning your space specifically for longer, creative stays.

  • Artelio is designed to support longer, focused stays rather than short-term tourism. However, you can choose how your calendar works. Some hosts keep open availability for independent bookings, while others offer fixed, time-bound residencies. The format and duration are entirely up to you — we simply encourage stays that allow for meaningful creative work.

  • You set your own pricing. We offer guidance based on stay type and duration, but the final decision remains yours.
